There are also discounts available, such as free weekday museum passes that include Saturdays (with accompanying paid adult) and half off individual day memberships on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (non-holiday periods). Children under age one year enjoy complimentary access during all hours the museum is open.

The Children’s Museum of Stockton in the state of California has been in operation for more than 40 years. The museum was created by a group of parents who were looking to provide their children with high-quality educational experiences that also allowed them to have fun and make new friends.

Since 1976, the Children’s Museum has been located at its current site on Lathrop Road near downtown Stockton. In 2000, the Children’s Museum expanded from one floor to two floors as well as doubling its exhibition space and adding additional interactive exhibits aimed at engaging young learners through play. After receiving an award grant from Chevron Corporation in 2006, the Children’s Museum reopened after a three year renovation period featuring four new permanent exhibitions.
